500A wind guard

Postby rainjer » Sun Aug 08, 2010 10:33 pm

I have been wanting to put a wind guard on my 500A for a while. I thought it would help when cooking waffles to keep a consistent heat. Tonight I decide to fabricate one. It is made from .040" aluminum.

Nice job. I've been thinking of doing something similar with my Coleman 500. How did you roll and shape the aluminum?

I did it by hand. I used a spray pain can & a piece of closet rod to prevent kinking. I use the edge of the table for the sharp corners.
