Funday Friday!

Postby starleen2 » Fri Aug 20, 2010 8:41 pm

Remember when I said that After I get back from Alaska, it was going to be open season on Coleman’s – Well today is the day I start making good on the claim. Today flea market score:
1973 220 H – excellent condition : $5:00

1974 3500 BTU heater : $10.00 ( the little brother to my massive 5000 BTU Coleman)

Wasn’t gonna get this one – But for 10 bucks – why not, eh? A 1977 425 F

You have a real talent for bringing home clean examples of the Coleman marque. It never ceases to amaze me, sir.

Sometimes, I walk past a few that are not so good - In time you learn to judge what is an efficient use of time. Sometimes I grab the parts lantern, but patience -my Padawan Learner- yields what you seek! :D

Not sure about the pancake Paul, but it's REALLY easy to scorch the paint with a pan that's too big.

great thing about coleman, if you destroy it there will be a replacement along shortly!
actually my griddle just fits about perfectly on the stove. I still havent scorched my newish 425. I am a little careful tho.a 413 would be a better choice for griddle work..
