My latest project (done)

Postby rainjer » Sat Aug 28, 2010 12:25 am

I decided to make a mini "Handy Pail" for my new 226 lantern. The design is based on the Handy Pail carrying case Coleman made in the 30's.

Here is the pail with the lantern.

Very nice canister Jeremy! I wouldn't have thought that the mantles would store better upside down as mentioned on the decal, I need to hang out on the Coleman forum more. Just thinking...you could wrap some formica around some sauna tube and really build a custom one to match your boomerang counter top. Now to go check what I have laying around in the shop. Doug

I did not know that either until I was making the label. Everything on the decal came from the original handy pail.

I thought of that. I am not sure it would roll that tight without being real brittle.
