hey guys i just wanted to thank you all for the info and direction in trying to find me a case. i finally did find one on ebay and just got it in the mail last night. when i get a chance to i'll try and put a pic on here. now all i need to do is try to find a coleman big hat made in 1983 for my b-day lantern. i am willing to trade my 73 for one so if anyone has any leads please let me know. thanks

Sorry to say I think you were a late bloomer.
If I remember right the 275 "Turd" was the last of the big hats made, discontinued around 1981.
