Only you know the answer to your question. What it's worth (to you), what you can sell it for, and what someone else is willing to pay are three different values. I recently paid three dollars for one similar (about a 1946) with a nickel plated brass fuel tank and it's virtually perfect w/o even a small ding in the vent.

If you are patient you can find lanterns for three to five dollars on a regular basis at garage sales. I have about a dozen lanterns and three stoves and less than $100 invested. Two stoves were a buck each and I splurged and paid $5 for one. I plan to sell them for about what I have in em at gatherings once I get off my duff, finish my trailer, and get on the road. Just the thrill of the chase and see'em goin to good homes versus languishing in someone's garage.

Cheers,

Gus

 It depends... it's chrome, and they are sometimes hard to find in decent condition. If it works I would get it. I wouldn't spend $30 on a common everyday green lantern.
