Repro Toas-Tites w/ box and cookbooks!

Postby DragonFire » Sat Nov 05, 2011 6:14 pm

I found this on eBay today (forgive me if this 'shortening of the url' doesn't work!!)

It's a reproduction of the Toas-Tite pie irons. I have several of the original kind, but this would make an awesome gift or something to have that has the cookbooks and repro box with it.

I know waffle dogs are big around these parts, but how about Toas-Tites??

Ok...remember...if this didn't work, please forgive me and tell me what to do next time. I followed advise on the 'sticky' and I may have gotten it wrong....

Thanks guys...I messed with it a bit and still couldn't do it and gave up...just wanted to get it out there and see if there was interest. I love Toas-Tites...Grandma had an iron, then Mom got one, then I got one, Mom got more, I am not sure how many we have now...but I've eaten them as long as I remember and nobody ever knew what I was talking about.

Try 'canned' peaches (we can our own) with white bread...peach pie! Use spaghetti, cheese, whatever...they are great and easy to eat.
