I slipped off to the bootfair.

On sunday I got up early and got to the nearest flea for a Coleman fix. I was about halfway through and I was starting to feel the DOOM of being skunked. My Coleman senses now heightened I spotted the green and red. This thing is SUCKA HEAVY, as Larry would say.



And brought it home to its rightful owner.



It is so clean. It had foil under the burners. It had been loved.

My confidence restored I quickly spotted this one.

I have had several 413g s but none this clean. It was $15. The others I paid $5 or less.

I think that a stove/lantern count should only include non-duplicates.....15 of the same old thing almost borders on compulsive type behavior. I mean...just how many 220Js would anyone want, fix them and give them away! Doug

Doug I have been doing what you said earlier. I give them to people to get them started. My brother is really the stove guy. I just have two small ones for my self.

Now lanterns they are a problem. And I only have one 220j!

It is hard for me when I see a really nice stove for 5 or 10 bucks that if you bought new would be 100. Its hell out there in fleatown.

And the soda is crazy expensive at flea markets.

You know everyone is saying I got so bad? I only have like 15 lanterns and 3 stoves. Only 8 of the lantern even light up. I have two nice lantern cases and about 6 aluminum funnels. There are guys at the Coleman collectors forum that have 25 (TWENTY FIVE!) 200A's. There is one guy over there that has 50 stoves or more who knows. Heck I barely have enough to go camping with.

You did, however, go zero to 60mph in record time!! Or is that zero to 18 items.. hehe.

Ok so I got it real bad. It could be worse. I guess. For now its off to the bootfair. What I really need is a Milspec and a nice brown turd.
