I'm in the tilley club!

Well I went back to the flea market today. I was able to catch the guy. I picked up this heater. Looked at it. Played the game. Interesed, not interested. Back and forth on the price. Finally left with it after threatening to walk away. It is an R1 model from the mid 50's. It looks in good condition, clean but tarnished. Some rust on the handle and the generator. All the knobs and screws turn freely. The tank is clean. I think this will clean up well. You just don't see these every day.
Randy, after buying this I think you got a steal on yours. Too cheap.

This last picture is one I pulled off the web.

Randy, I need some help with the mantle.
What size?
How to install?
I think I can use a torch to preheat with.
Also does this thing have to use kero or can it use coleman fuel?

Thanks Keith

Is there going to be a Tilly gang now? I don't think so. Coleman rules .

Ok so maybe having a Tilly is cool but just know its a passing fad.
