Here is the only picture available of a true "iron" waffle dog iron. Maybe only 5 exist. It's gonna take Popeye forearms to use this one as it's heavy. A friend of a friend cast it. The general consensus with foundry /pattern people is that it just isn't feasible to reproduce these unless there are like hundreds + of them cast and that's going to take a chunk of change, just to get them cast, let alone the machine work to finish them up. This one was cast off an existing aluminum unit, and no pattern was made, it's pretty rough. Someone would be paying much more than the existing prices on E-bay for them. I may try to finish it up this weekend if I have time...gotta get packed for the Dam.

In the meantime...how'z about this for a wild idea....I just can't imagine pouring batter into this baby and it better be a crispy one! Thanks to Jeremy for this link! Doug
