Waffle dog Iron.

There is a new listing on a dog iron. $69.00 free shipping. That is a fair deal. I would buy it if I thought I would get it before the DAM. For those who want one real bad it not a terrible price.

I ordered one from the same party last week. I just got sick and tired of being outbid numerous times. I was surprised to receive it in three days. They shipped and packed it really well. Heck $70 with free shipping was still a better price. Leaving tomorrow on a camping trip for the weekend. I plan on playing around with my new waffle dog iron. Will post pics.

Here is the only picture available of a true "iron" waffle dog iron. Maybe only 5 exist. It's gonna take Popeye forearms to use this one as it's heavy. A friend of a friend cast it. The general consensus with foundry /pattern people is that it just isn't feasible to reproduce these unless there are like hundreds + of them cast and that's going to take a chunk of change, just to get them cast, let alone the machine work to finish them up. This one was cast off an existing aluminum unit, and no pattern was made, it's pretty rough. Someone would be paying much more than the existing prices on E-bay for them. I may try to finish it up this weekend if I have time...gotta get packed for the Dam.

In the meantime...how'z about this for a wild idea....I just can't imagine pouring batter into this baby and it better be a crispy one! Thanks to Jeremy for this link! Doug
