Stuff from the Dam......

Postby doug hodder » Sun May 06, 2012 7:51 pm

I went up with 4 stoves....came back with 8...go figure! Kevin and I took off on Thurs. since that was our bad weather day...rained all day long and we went hunting. We hit up a number of the antique stores on the outskirts of Redding. I saw the same old $350 Waffle iron that was there 2 years ago, it is nice one though....just not $350 nice. I managed to pick up a nice KampKook, Kevin got 2 stoves and 2 table lamps. We managed to talk them down on all the items. Even if it was an antique store...everything was a much better deal than on E-bay. There were other stoves and lanterns that we left. Here's what I dragged home. Lots of lanterns and stoves for sale/trade/take aways at the gathering.

My "secret" pickers got this 1928 2D in AZ for me.

Kirk brought up this 1963 442 aluminum body for me....this one is a challenge.

Another one from Kirk, the brass tank on this one is just perfect!...thanks so much guy, I appreciate them and will give them a great home, it's a Prentiss Wabers model 9 ~ late 20's

This is my antique store find....a Mid 30's KampKook 2521

Happy Hunting! Doug

Its a Coleman Quicklight. The old lanterns a mystery to me. I dont know the model or year. Doug might know I got it from him.

The Quicklite is model 327 There should be a date stamped on the fount near the logo. Probably 1925 to 1930. They are great lanterns!

That would make it 1922-1925 I think.
