Dang..it's the Dang Gathering!! Where Campmaster-K fattens us up with warm cream cheese cobblers and Snoop Dougy Doug shows off his Waffle Dog skills. And Lazybones comes cruising in on a 46 Salsbury that has just come off a cross country race. Tupelosue arrives on a Dragon Red Vespa from Napa. Dragonfire arrives with the famous Grasshopper in tow..and toas-tites on the menu. Lots of good eats and Coleman fuel...and a whole lot of crazy people all in one place at one time!! Dang! That's why they call it the Dang Gathering!!

Oh, Shasta Dam is nearby....

Ok so here it is. Get a pen I am going to give you my recipe.

Batter - 1 -1/4 cup white sugar. 1 cup self rising flour. 1 cup milk (real milk). 1 stick of salty real butter (melted). 1 tablespoon of vanilla or more. A shooka shooka of salt. A shooka shooka of MSG - Accent .

Its a simple batter that works really good. This is a single batch best in a 10" oven. Double it for a 12".

Two cans of cherry pie filling. A bar of cream cheese. Put that down first. Then pour on the batter and add almonds.

Very sorry about pic quality. Pics were taken with ----- cell phone. :snappy:

I was worried that the cool whip might mess up the flavor of the cobbler so I got the extra creamy cool whip instead. It was the right thing to do. 8)

Nothing will happen without the MSG.

You ever eat Doritos and wonder why it is impossible to stop eating them. MSG.
