All our new Coleman acquisitions came in handy a lot sooner than we expected. We woke up to no power this morning but Lance made coffee on the 425C and I got ready for work by the light of the 275 Turd. We were, as they say, cookin' with gas!!

Trying to get some more info on it is proving a little difficult. :?

 Two thoughts come to mind either a Air-O-Lantern or Quick-Lite. Amber globe is nice and hard to find. Should have had a Mica globe. Lantern is from the 20's or 30's I think.

I was just looking at pics here. Maybe its a 327? But the ventilator looks different - the holes have about a finger-width of solid area below them before the top flares out. I can't find a picture of a ventilator similar to that. The little bit of the collar that is visible in the pic looks to be right for a Quicklite of that time period though. I emailed the person on Monday, havent heard back, so I emailed them again this morning. They're about an hour from me, but I'm curious so I may go after work tomorrow.

Hey the dudes over on the CCF forum have set a date for the Nor Cal Coleman campout. Aug 3,4,5. If you all are interested. It is in the gathering section.

Same place as last year.

Your link is where I looked to see if I could figure out what it is. QL327 is probably what it is. Or it could be a "Frankenlantern", used parts put together. It could also be a Canadian lantern. Eh. :R No matter it's way older than anything that I have. The oldest I have ia a 228C B47.

Looks like a few known suspects are going...I'm jealous! Can't wait to see what you guys return with after such a gathering...I mean like lanterns traded and such.. Hope you post...man, do I want to say "hope you post your booty here.." but it just doesn't sound right

I wanna see pictures. Of your Coleman finds, not your booty (or at least, not THAT booty!!)

Never mind.....

I"m from Dundalk Baltimore county, I drove a hour and half to pick this up today but that one just dont seem to do it for me. This one looks like they burned in a mantle and put it away for 43 years.
