I'm looking for a tall steel stand for my coleman three burner stove. Thought I would ask here first to see if anyone had one for sale.
PM me if you do.
Thanks
Lee

Oh yeah....steel...they're the ones you want. I got mine at the IRG. Did a paint job on it, and made a piece of ply that fits on top of the legs under the 426. That way it raises the stove a bit, and doesn't scuff the paint on the stove body or allow the stove to scoot from side to side. I"m thinking, I'll make a short box with a drawer on it to sit on the legs under the stove. Gets the stove higher and keeps all the utensils handy. It's way sturdy! Doug

That sounds better than the one I got Doug.. I usually end up putting my 2 burner on one end of the picnic table (bottom feet extended).

On Sunday I got inspired to fix my only three burner. It was really greasy and full of trash and spiders. I BB'd the tank, did the shooka shooka. Put it all back together and got this. Its like an aircraft carrier!

After I fixed the stove I made this pulled pork. Not on the stove. It has a sauce on it that is I jar apricot jam, 1 bottle bulls eye and a heavy squirt of sriacha hot sauce. 5 lb pork butt roast 350 for 4 hrs. Lets just say it was ----- outstanding!

What did you do today. Here is what I did.

Not sure the year of this stove. It is my first cast iron burner. Well not really my first, lets say first to be fixed.

Image

Everything was rusted solid. It was almost a basket case.

Image

After de rusting and paint the burner looks pretty good.

Image

Image

Back inside to re assemble the burner unit.

Image

New stainless screws and bolts.

Image

Burner looking real good now.

Nice when they start coming together. Not sure on the model # on that stove...not a 417B, not like my 3H either. Any info you can see on the shield? Rich, Penny and I went to a flea market in Diamond Springs. They have it every Labor Day. We got there about 7:30...in the first booth I found a Speedmaster 500 Feb 55 mfg. date. Rich picked it up for 2$. Needs a total resto. I'll post some pics on my find....gotta do some testing first. Doug
