Dog Iron. Not waffle dog iron.

Lanterns, stoves, etc... anything old!

What's the white stuff?

When I went to the SW site and clicked on the interior close-up, I wondered.....are those onions nestled around those brats???

Tums time for some. ;)

I picked one up last spring, and we cooked brats in it several times during the summer. I have also seen a 2-dog iron, but the 3-dogger is just perfect for the twins and me. A Johnsonville brat does indeed fit in it, although it is a tight fit.

I bought breakfast sausages to try out, but we got rained out and I haven't fired up the backyard grill since then. I remember when Sonic Drive In was first trying out breakfasts, and they had what they described as "Pancake and Sausage on a Stick" that was a breakfast sausage dipped in pancake batter and deep fried, so I figured that was what we were going to make with the brat-iron. (I think Sonic's current offering is a real pancake wrapped around the sausage. Too bad, I kind of liked the other one.)

You should try some waffle batter in one with the little sausage links. Try a few on the stove top. Just to see how it works. I have used my waffle dog iron on the stove and it works just fine. I have mentioned this before but they sell batter in a can. Its called Batter Blaster and tastes pretty good. But what I like best about it is that there is no mixing and no mess. Squirts out of the can right into the iron. Real handy at camp when sitting around a campfire. You can make about 20/ can of batter. They claim it to be all organic.

DragonFire is closing in on the kill...about a mile from Spotsmans Warehouse..Stoking the engine over at Rubio's... Quick stop to stake out some Coleman and maybe a real WD iron... Then I'll move in for the kill.

Gotta check the CI selection too!

Batter!

I'm so sorry for the typo correction, but I read it as the Bladder Blaster and fell off my chair in fits of laughter. Oh my!! I think I've had too much caffeine and am very punchy tonight.  I think I even scared the cat when I read about how it squirts right into the iron.

Must stop... can't see cuz of ROFL.Please don't take it personally. I really needed the LOLs tonight.

Buttermilk Batter Blaster is great stuff...I got the LAST dog cooker at Sportsmens Warehouse today....and picked up a waffle maker on clearance.

Gotta go see what I have to do to it before I can use it tomorrow...may precook some bacon and throw that in there along with 'Bladder Blaster'...

I'll report back tomorrow....

Hey..I can read 'Slowcowboyese' so I'm not worried! But that was funny that ratkitty read it as 'Bladder' instead of 'Batter'...I always thought your Batter Blaster was badder than mine, being that I have the California liberal type of Batter Blaster here, probably a different recipe so as not to cause harm to the environment...

I'm going to use my wimpy Batter Blater tomorrow, though. Tried it in the toas-tite last week and it was good...

I used to laugh at the guy who always brought cans of that stuff to our scooter rally..we never used it..we just sent it back with him. Then I realized he might be on to something..and tried it. I'm hooked.

Ahhh, thanks, I needed that! I have another 35 minutes before I can head home, and ROFL helps pass the time!

I read it again and still got tickled. This time tears weren't running down my face as I gasped for air.

I want a full report on the Badder Batter Blaster (with pictures!).

Hugs,

My Batter Blaster is so bad, it just cooked the baddest bacon-batter blaster breakfast ever. Who cares if it's noon! I had a computer to set up.

Used my new Waffle-less Dog Iron with bacon I pre cooked. I did 2 rounds with crisco, now I have some cooking with bacon grease..bacon inside and bacon outside!! Doesn't get any badder that!

Looks like I'm going to have hit the store for some more super bad batter blaster. Cranberry juice for the bladder is optional.
