Coleman Keepers Campfire come on in!

Lanterns, stoves, etc... anything old!

Go get your digital camera and go out into the garage and drag out that old lantern that you know is out there. Take a picture and post it on this thread. Do it now. You dont have to be a Coleman expert to have fun showing us your camping stuff. Who knows maybe it will be rare or worth a ton of money ( usually not the case).

Ok, stop your whining. That is my department

A 321B Canadian. Jan 1980. My third single big mantel. I am really liking those beasties. I got it on Ebay for a decent price. It was in the states so shipping and all was less than those from Canada go for. Did not have a heat shield but a member on the Coleman forum gifted me one. Not pristine but I like users.

OK Here is a picture.

Bamb! ! !

All B-Day Loot, Lanterns, Stove, and Water jug. The one in the red box is really two month after my B-day, but the font up top will make it one. The one with the amber globe I just got in from a guy on the CCF forums. He spotted a 220k I bought as his b-day lantern and offered a trade. It is a little ruff but that gives me an excuse to finally do a special color lantern.

I just got these two off E-bay. Jan 1957 200a and a Nickel Jan 1957 200. These are for a buddy of mine in OK. His B-day lantern. I have a junky 72 , the 5 /65 my neighbor gave me ( along with that sears ) in the garage and my burgundy as well. That is all my Reds.

Kirk

Don't make me post photos of my 1923 Model 1 stove. :D

I found it on Craigslist. The guy wanted too much. I paid him less than what he wanted but more than I wanted to pay, originally. It's only missing the oven grate.

Ok so I have something to get off my chest. I have been kind of lying to you all and I feel bad and I just have to ---- well tell the truth. I have been kind of lying to myself as well and its time to come out of the closet. I have been dabbling in ------ propane.

Now before when I would buy a propane lantern I felt like it was bad and Doug would make fun of me so I just stopped talking about it. Now when I go to the flea I see all the cool Coleman propane lanterns to collect and I think why not. All different shapes of glass and cool vents and stuff. So there it is. I have been buying propane lanterns too and I have come to terms with it and I hope you all can too. Many pics to follow soon.

Wow , I am so relieved.

I really like those weird bernzomatic lanterns where the bottle lays kind of sideways. And the bernzomatic glass is cool too.

Go ahead make fun and get it out of your system. Propane is the new thing around here.

Get with the times.

I dunno Kirk,

Lately I've really taken a liking to the LED lanterns that Coleman is selling. 8)

I would add the bernzomatic dual beam thing to my collection If I find one cheap enough. Those look interesting to me.

Kevin Kevin Kevin. I am not sayin propane is better or cooler I am just saying that there are some "propane" Coleman lanterns that have a little style to them. Like the ones that use the 275 glass, lots of patterns that I have not seen on PGAs. Nothing wrong with dabbling. Just sayin.
