Kirk hope you are feeling better...being sick is not a good thing.

allergies have been crazy this year....

Took the sears out for a test run when we to the catolac out to the top of Mt Diablo.

Time to get everything fired up and ready for a summer of fun.

man, back in the day I wanted one of those Falcon class B rigs in the worst way. I was a road warrior traveling photographer at the time. I wound up with an F150 with a 27' 5th wheel... couldn't afford the Falcon at the time. Yours looks great, by the way!

Get better! I ended up with two rounds of steroids and antibiotics before my lungs and head cleared up. Allergies are terrible this year. I am carrying an inhaler for the first time in 25 years.

Coolness in deed. Need some 1/4 inch wire loom on the top of the bail to keep from banging the paint. Maybe a safe to hide the nicks on the bottom.

Let your light shine on. Brother, shine on.

On the 228F that I stripped the paint from the fount and then clear coated I put the decal from a 220C ( or D ) on it. It is one with directions. Gives it a little different look.

There it is, Also put a red knob on it for some more color and it now has an amber globe.

It has been 2 months since I bought Coleman anything. ( not counting fuel ) Thought I would make it past June but I stopped at a garage sale this morning.

:NC

Found this

Image

220F Jan 1971, Was burned just enough to form the mantels. Originally bought at the local Coast to Coast. No chips, no scratches, decal perfect. Box in very good opened condition.

He also had a 413E the couple had bought new when they where first married. It is one that a wire loop under the grate went around the fuel cap. I have 413# with the loop around the generator. I had to pass on the stove. Should not have bought the lantern but that lantern is sure sweet.

And talking about vintage camping equipment. Does this count?

Image

2000 Isuzu Trooper, High mileage but every thing seems to work, except for the rear window washer and the #6 cylinder. I think injector is probably not working right. Compression is low but it should do something more than it is. When driving on gravel and I give it the boot it does like to squirrel around. Seems like it runs better at about 2000 rpm. It is a nice ride, frame has not kissed a rock, ( yet ) Looks like it been in Idaho most if not all its life. It was cheap enough. even if I do have to slip a used motor in there. I can do most the work myself with a little help from a friend. Price was right even if it does need work. 5 speed which I like specially on a higher mileage rig. Get it running right and I might go to a Scamp or similar 13 footer. But who knows?

Nice lantern! Looks like brand new.

New to you TV? Did one of your rigs quit? I must have missed that. Looks like a little more off road capable with more ground clearance than your other AWD's.

Randy, I would have never thought that you would size up. If you go to a "big" standy how are you gonna get down all those tight little 2 tracks into all of those well hidden little known campsites?
