Cliff...that's pretty much a hot dog cooker only...1" interior dia. doesn't leave much room for the batters. I've got one of those and I'd think you'd be pretty hard pressed to coat a dog with anything in one of them, also no holes for the sticks. The holes shown are for alignment. Those can be purchased from Cabelas, Bass Pro etc...marketed as "dog and brat" cookers...but I can't fit a brat in mine. Just not enough room...It gets squished with a lip on it. The Waffle dog makers have in addition to the waffle dimples in it, a lip on the outer edge to help catch run-off. Doug

Cool then I'll keep looking! Crappy thing is a couple of months ago my wife picked one up at an antique shop and not knowing what it was she put down after showing it to me. They wanted $10 for it but when their was nothing to tell ya what it was just wasn't interested in it :oops: .

Way healthier than a traditional corn dog, which is cooked in a vat of boiling fat... This sets well with The Teardrop Nanny. :thumbsup:

ditto!! I just got the iron and no instructions.. made it ok on our own tho..

Our latest 'Blueberry' style Waffle dogs.....2 with sausage and 2-without.......mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Had these at Beavers Bend 3/24 to 3/26/2011.

What a GREAT trip !!
