Sorry Mike...if this stove goes to anyone, it'll be Dean Bessom. It was his fathers. If he wants it....it's his, don't know if he would however, since he wanted it gone to begin with. Doug

I really like the look of the hammered paint. What color and brand is it? Once again you out did yourself Doug. Maybe now you can spend the time with Mr. Christmas and turn his life around for the better. 8)

Thanks Dawn....paint is plain old Rustoleum deep green hammer finish. Hammer paint is a bear to paint and have it look decent on larger flat surfaces, in my opinion. It takes a heavy coat to get the right look, just short of a sag for best hammered look. There is some sort of an additive in it that basically lays down a whole lot of fisheyes, something painters try to avoid. Dries pretty quickly though.

HD only has a few colors in hammer finish, silver, gold, bronze, copper, green and I think a charcoal. This stove wasn't worth getting anything custom matched up....it's got a ton of dents in it, not all of which could be removed. Doug

Mark....I'll get a pic later...gotta take a stove apart to get one out, but they are pretty much the same on any of the older preways or AGM's. Doug

It runs...in fact starts up wonderfully. Fuel pump needs a new nib in the check valve. It bleeds off pressure. I'll have to make up one of those. Doug

Wow Doug, that looks great.

Now if you get a griddle to go across all three burners.

I got a griddle that will work on a 413, but getting those burners to run even is just on the wrong side of possible.

How is that 3 burner on that account?

Great job Doug, you might start doing this for a living. You seem to be able to crank them out pretty fast. I wish I had your skill.

I've probably got one or two. What is wrong with the ones in it in the pic of it burning?

They're slightly crushed on 1 side of 2 of them and the flame pattern isn't what it should be. I put the best one on the main burner. I'd need to find some loose ones out of a parts stove only, not rob any out of an existing potential working stove.

Here's a pic of the tag that Jeremy made. The original was there, but is totally shot, no copy visible at all. We changed up the copy color to black and I printed it out on photographic paper, laminated it up and shot it with a clear coat. It's not an original treatment on it, but it'll work. Thanks Jeremy. Doug
