Hopefully Lee will post tonight, but the Salsbury overheated today about 40 miles out of the end of today's leg. He had to wait over an hour in the 100 degree Texas heat while it attempted to cool down. He made it in, but that probably closed the gap on his lead a bit. He's probably wrenching on it right now..hopefully he gets it all taken care of. They are on an incline..and will head up into New Mexico tomorrow..they will spend the night in Roswell.

Hopefully it was an easy fix and he will post pictures...and explain that something he needs to explain. It sure stirred up a hornet's nest on Modern Vespa.

And I thought he liked to avoid drama...!

This is what Lazybones is up to...

He'll get it fixed for tomorrow...remember, he has cruise control, so he can always nap as he rides

As long as he stays out of jail...do you think he will be able to cross state lines when he's out on bail?

Well, Lee is out of the pokey and made it to today's checkpoint in Roswell, NM. They left at 3:30 this morning to beat the heat.

Just wanted to keep you all updated, or check out the links at http://scootercannonball.com.

I'm hoping he's not working too hard and won't be too beat to make it over to the Dam...can't wait to hear his stories from the road!

I sure hope Lee got points for getting arrested. His points are way ahead of everyone. I think he got points for the pokey.

Lee has gone missing... he checked on at Roswell but he hasn't been seen since.. Haven't even seen pics of the Frankenscoot....alien abduction? Riding that Salsbury would attract unusual attention.

Or maybe he's back in the pokey for crossing state lines while out on bail??
