Very cool!
Dragon fire, great idea to use the CI as weights, but you're right, the challenge was Coleman. No matter, we love it all.

I call mine Cast Irony because we keep our trailers light only to fill them up with cast iron
Happy New Year to you all!

I bought a really small CI skillet (#2) yesterday at a thrift...just to go on my 502 stove. My Mom was with me and said "what's with you guys..you get these tiny trailers that are really light, then you fill them up with cast iron..it makes no sense!"...to us, it makes total sense!

Cast Irony...I love it!

Kzhorse...great hat! How did you do that?? Dang..you could sell those things! That is such a great logo..Kirk took a great picture of his globe with this logo for the Christmas Eve lighting. Perfect lighting and angle.

I wonder if it could be etched onto someone's side or door window? Wouldn't that be cool!

I picked up a red, 2 gal one at Goodwill a couple days ago...6/70.

Still want to find the small one..

Mine was $4.99. How much do they go for in your neck of the woods? I know each Goodwill has slightly different prices on their shirts and 'set price' items, but camping stuff can vary widely...IF you can even find it!!

they use something that wipes of really easy out here...too easy. Sometimes you get to the checkstand and the price is gone!!

They marked mine right on the cap..mine also has the cup..but the price came right off.

Now I've got to invent a good refreshing adult drink to keep in it!!

I have a new project. I have had this a while and now seems a good time to give it a face lift. Now I know one can get a near perfect 413 G for about 15 bucks all day. I have bought several, but where is the challenge in that? So here is the before pics.

I got a 2 gallon Coleman cooler for $6 at the estate sale I got my last three nearly perfection lanterns, for $19 each and a 426B that was nearly pristine for $30. I should have tried to bargain with them on that stove.

OK, Kirk...let's see what you have in mind for this one!! Green with red flames behind the burners (on the inside of the lid)??

I really like what you did with the red accents on the other stove. Coleman should have done that in the first place!

Flames on the inside of the lid is a cool idea. I will ponder it. 8)

I was inspired by a trailer I saw on the Tin Can Tourists facebook page..the guy was in to old cars, so he was able to paint his appliances to match his TV and the way he themed his caned ham. He didn't do flames, but painted the center of the oven door and other appliances bright yellow and at the edges feathered in orange to red. Looks great. It reminded me of flames, then I thought of you and your stoves...wouldn't it be cool to do flames on the inside of the lid so when you open it up, there are flames behind the burners. Only part way up. Nothing fancy.

It could go with a lantern with a frosted flame globe...like what kzhorse made.

Do a matched set with some common finds just for kicks!
