My name is Kirk and I am a Coleman addict. It has been about 5 weeks since my last purchase. I am planning a binge this weekend. I hope nobody finds me in the gutter with a broken dirty AGM in my hand.

step away from your computer Kirk. Don't fall prey to ebay.

I admit I have been researching on ebay. There was a 200 B 97 that went for $250 today. Very interesting.

Ebay makes me feel happy and needed. They have all the things that I need and will deliver those things right to my door. Cost ---- just a few clicks of the mouse. ;)

I'm hoping to sneak out and add to my collection tomorrow morning. But first I have to start clearing my stuff out of the Aristocrat and start washing the outside. There are people coming to look at it in the afternoon.

I use ebay as a research tool..I get info on different models, see what's out there, etc. But it's hard not to fall prey. I passed on a camp oven yesterday..there will be others, and I need a TV in the next couple months.

Though I really want a 275. Would look good with the Grasshopper.

And another single burner stove.

But I hope to snag another 220 tomorrow.

I got a fuel container today...for Coleman fuel. I still want another as a spare gasoline bottle for the Vespa. And yes, I got it on ebay.

Kirk...go take a little sip of the white gas and see if it calms your nerves. If not, hit the bootfair on sunday. I'm tempted to go out, but may hit the antique fair instead...or stay in and sleep. Just depends on how things go with the big trailer tomorrow. It's between a local couple and a guy with money in LA. Both want to keep it original. Both will keep the original CA blue and gold plate. Just gotta wait and see.

Ebay isn't really that bad, you just have to be careful with the high shipping cost some people charge, and just not get caught up in it. Know what you are willing to spend on a product, and stop there. Don't get caught up in a bidding frenzy! Sometimes, things you are after just can't be found in your local area, and you have to use the online auctions - or go without.

I have looked at and purchased from ebay, but I try to stay within what I think is reasonable and fair price. I have also referenced some of the prices people sell items for over on CCF to see if eBay is way out of line. Just look carefully at what you are buying.

I guess in need to improve my garage sale skills!

I'm really amazed at the current pricing on a lot of items on Ebay. There used to be a time when you could get a decent 242 for 15$. Garage sailing isn't all that great this time of year here so if the weather holds....I'll be painting up the model 44 this weekend and hopefully putting it all back together. Doug

I like ebay. You can get what you want -- now. The prices might be a little more. As for shipping there is cost any way you do it. I live an hour from civilization so I pay gas or shipping its the same. I just like the challenge of the wild.

I agree Doug, eBay isn't what it used to be. Prices are higher all the way around.

Kirk, I just need to improve my "hunting" skills. Fridays a normally big days for garage sales, maybe I should head out!

I've been buying on ebay since its inception. It is a great place to find things that I could never find locally. ( which is just about everything LOL)
From a 8,000 scooter to a 1.00 lantern part.

Like Loader said. Pick your price and try to stick to it.
