Strangest one I have is an Egyptian 8 mm semi auto.

:D

We load too. We ( my brother and I). I love the Mosin bolt action. Cheap, good , last forever and history and accurate.

Well I fired up my newest 200A - perfect, just poured in the magic juice and fire. I used to keep warm whilst I work on the tear. Behold.

Nice lantern.

And I am guessing you are not a vegetarian.

Oh, you are the crazy guy with the cool food porn as wallpaper in the galley! I saw that when I first joined and it made me hungry...I thought it was a great idea! Nice sink setup, too! That is really looking nice!

No tofu for you, huh??

Oh, nice lantern BTW!

I am an omnivore. Tofu is good, but not as good a sausage.

I have a question for the assembled Coleman experts. I know that one picture isn't much to go on, but would you think that this:

Would this one be worth $20 and an hours' drive? I am facinated by these little Coleman heaters.

Not to me....someone gave me, or should I say "sneaked" a cat heater into my truck at a Coleman gathering. I took it back and hid it in their campsite...it wound up in Dave A's trailer and he got stuck with it. If heaters are your thing....go for it....20$ is a bit steep and the drive would kill the deal for me. Doug

If you love love it and it speaks to you its worth it. Most Coleman stuff I try to pay as little as possible, but some pieces I just have to have it. If it still seems fun at 20 then take it home.

I am kind of spoiled where I live. I have a flea market near me where they give Coleman stuff away for a $1 sometimes.

It is worth an hours drive, if the drive is scenic and you don't have to pay anything for it. I bought one like that last summer for $10 local and had to bite my tongue.

IMO - No. I've had four of those type of heaters. They either work very well or not at all. If the catalyst gets consumed or converted - then they are useless. If the snuffer is missing, they are almost impossible to extinguish until the fuel tank is empty and the wick is dry. I found this out while trying to replace a wick in one - I needed to drain the tank - so I did - and though I had snuffed it out. I was able to disassemble the "head" and pull the wick out - then laid it aside on the concrete drive way - to my surprise it ignited again and continued to burn until the wick was bone dry.I even tried dousing it with water and it still ignited again. That was enough for me on those type of heaters
