I was out bid also. Been watching it the whole time. I bid last minute all the time to try and keep the price down. I was outbid before my automatic bid was even placed. Oh well. I pick a price and stick to it.

Lee..that is how I do it, too. So the price isn't driven up, I wait it out. If it goes over my limit before I bid, I just let it go and figure there will be another one another day!

I have six stoves not including my 500, 208 and HGP. I guess it could be thought of as a very small museum of beat up stoves.
When I look at a stove there are two sides of me. :noyes: No wins out most of the time.

An ebay purchase that came with shipping damage. I just got a new valve and generator for it. I plan on doing a full restoration on it.
The race scooter is taking my time right now though.

I saw forum labeled "Vintage Camping Equipment" and decided to take a look. :NC
I HATE YOU GUYS!
I read this thread. :(
I HATE YOU GUYS!
I had to go get my 1979 200A and do a "little cleanup".
Did i mention I HATE YOU GUYS?
Then i mentioned my 200A to my Dad and he gave me a 1972 220F. It's out in the garage in pieces. :(
I wonder if my Daughter still has my old stove?
I'm hooked...i wonder if AA would help?

Well my 4th 200a showed up yesterday (havent taken pix yet) but I got these over the weekend I got this 220e from E-bay for $9 and $15 shipping I cant figure out why no one bid on it.Just a quick wipe down add mantles and fuel and she fired right up.Even has the original green sunrise globe June of 1952

I got this off of Craigslist Sunday $25 in the box with 8 packs of silk lites and a full fount of fuel I havent fired it up yet,Looks like they burned off a pair of mantles back in the 70's and put it away.Have not even wiped it down. Not a scratch on it anywhere. this is a 220j November of 1976.

I almost forgot this is a project lantern I slaped together from parts,The fount is a June of 1946 242c mated with a late 60's 200a burner cage and a 288 vent.My little Big hat.working on fitting a AGM kooklite vent to it but have to extend the vent stud.
Image
The collar is just a tad high and the generator tip just barely enters the tube so I am making a collar from a piece of conduit about a 1/4" shorter I will post pictures when it is finished.
