Would this be a side effect of the Moose Drool?

Help Me Welcome the Newest Memeber of the Family

Postby IndyTom » Tue Feb 21, 2012 11:01 pm

Ok, you guys have infected me. So let me introduce you to the newest member of my Family

Image
This is my second turd. I have one that I was given by a neighbor several years ago that I have managed to break the original frosted globe. That happens to be what attracted me to this one on ebay. The old globes go for about $30, and I got this one for only $7 more than a globe alone. It seems to be in really good shape. There is no missing porcelain on the vent. The burner and burner housing are in good condition. The only issue that is readily visible is some missing paint on the fount in the picture below.

good looking .......... aaaah 275. I have yet to find one in the wild here. but the way things go for me I will start complaining about not finding anything here then bam.

My local Ace hardware has a bunch of globes that are tapered. I have not looked to close at them. I think the price is 15-16 buck. Right next to them are some 200A/242 globes for $12. white lettering so they are good for users when you don't want to risk an old one.

Hey Randy,

Next time you are in your local Ace, would you mind taking a look at those globes and seeing what they look like, if by chance they are frosted, I may have to check with some Ace Hardwares around here to see if they can get them for me. Until then, I know that I can get a clear globe for a 275 from Bass Pro for aroudn $11 + shipping. I just really prefer the look of the frosted globe with its vertical stripes.

I have a turd. But without the frosted globe. Matches my cooler. Great find...I still hope to find another turd...with the frosted globe.

Don't mind my lack of enthusiasm right now...yet another person backed out of buying the Aristocrat. She said she was sending the check..then got cold feet and said she was going to pass because she would have to get her hitch upgraded and her hours just got cut at work.

Bummer. Just a rotten bummer.

But hey, I've got a turd!!! With a cooler that matches!!

Things could be worse. It's just stressful.

That aritsocrat is big. I did not know. I thought it was tiny trailer. Good luck on your sale.

It is a big trailer. It has a bathroom..which is what lots of people want, but so far everyone has backed out at the last minute.

I wish it was a tiny trailer...I wouldn't be selling it!

Gotta move it so I can move on with the Grasshopper..it's way too nice just to scrap it.
