And my picnic table has been on fire before..I think it had to do with the stove though...

But I did a little shopping today and wanted to share what I got...

is it a Gold Bond something??? Another single burner stove?? A 'Coleman' propane tank? An awning for the G-hopper?

Hmmm...let's see.... 8)

Look- Make a choice you a turd or in the super cool 200a gang. You cant have it both ways.

I'll get the 200a lit one of these days...right now I've got a truck to clean and a trailer to move!! Then I get to clean the trailer!

I'm tired. This has been quite an event today. Saw a couple lanterns in a thrift store..but they wanted too much. Or maybe I just didn't know how to explain that I stopped at a thrift to look for Coleman while test driving the truck! :o

Wow!...seems cut and dry with Kirk...over here at the Museum, we are equal opportunity campers. There are only 2 things we really hate...people that discriminate against specific lantern type owners...and Gold Bond owners! My apologies to Michael Caine...(see Austin Powers movies)

Congrats on the new truck!

I'm with Doug on this, there are too many "varieties" when it comes to lanterns, why not enjoy them all!!!

I am going to collect whatever I come across that I like and is a good price..lantern wise. I'm not sure I could have too many!

I think there is lantern crate space behind the seats in the truck...I will take a crate out with me later when I go out to clean it..

Getting new tires on Thursday. I think it will be fun having the truck..it has a really good heater..I can load up the DO and head off to camp and it will be cooked by the time I get there!!

That is a good early year. But it seems kinda high $$. I bought one like new in a box, a 70's model for about $30. I also bought two 60 models this week, one for $1 and another for $10. Both work now and one is real clean. It just depends how bad you want it. And depending on where you live another will probably come along.
Good luck no mater what.

You know, I have been lighting my turds up sincce I acquired them and I am really pleased with the ease with which they light. They also seem to burn well.
I think I am starting to come around to them. viewtopic.php?f=49&t=49506

Joamon...glad you are starting to like the turds!! They are a bit untraditional, but cool in their own way!

OK..so 'untraditional' isn't really a word...
