The 502 I got had that sticker all gone. I fixed up my 220 lantern and then messed with the 502 and found the generator was basically the same. And on lanterns tis a big no no according to Coleman to run with the cleaning leaver adjusting the flame. Then on the Coleman collector forum there is a discussion about this. ( i found it just after I posted the earlier comment ). Several people wonder why Coleman says to use the lever for flame control. Could it not cause wear on the jet and needle? Who knows? Probably would take a whole mess of burning to harm it.
