Has the spare parts kit...
Image

And the original wrench....
Image

Unfortunately....It has been abused...
Image

The valve cleaner has been broken off on one side, and the other side will not move at all. I'm afraid this stove is going to be display only, unless I can find two new Valve Assemblies...part #520-657.
Anybody know where I can get them? I all ready tried Yucca, and Old Coleman parts......

John....might be an idea to sign up over on the Coleman forum, and ask the question in the technical threads. It's an AGM....someone might have a part for you. Chances are...that isn't going to be available as a NOS part from anyone. Doug

Huh....wonder why it has AGMCo on the case? I'd still ask on the forum over there, someone may just have a parts stove sitting around. Maybe I was mistaken...thought it indicated an AGM product. whoops! There is some killer stuff called PB blaster...really loosens up stuff, might be worth a shot to loosen it all up and get it so that you can take it apart and clean it. Available at places like Napa. Cool stove and a nice find, + the price is right! Doug

Not sure. It may be like the lanterns where they were built buy several companies to the same specifications. The just ended up together at some time.

In 1945 AGM also made this medical sterilizing two burner stove for the military.
Here the stove is sitting on top of the combination sterilizing chamber-stove container
for display purposes in the image.
This stove is in Bob Meyer's collection.

Paul.... you might be right...Coleman got the contract for the stoves and AGM got it on the cases...probably no hard and fast rules on it all. Hey...we were at war at the time and that one, everyone was behind. Regardless, that's one really nice find John! Doug

Yup, that's my stove. The bar on the front of the tank has Coleman on it. That case looks like it may have a stainless lid on it, mine is aluminum. Also, it looks as if someone used the lid upside down as a grill...or griddle........ :) It's a 523, but uses the same valve assemblies as the single burner 520's.....

You can't beat that for the price. Look around. You'll find the parts you need. There's lots of Coleman Collector Nutz out there!

John...for grins try this guy. I've spent time on the phone with him...really a savvy guy and will go out of his way to help you out. I've had good luck with him on some military stuff. http://www.oldcolemanparts.com/ don't know if he'll have what you want, but I do know that he has some parts back to the 30's. Put together a list of questions you want info on...I'll bet he has an answer. Doug
