My new piece of camping gear

Postby WarPony » Sun Aug 09, 2009 8:18 pm

Here's the latest piece of camping gear that I purchased. It's a 1969 Honda Z50 Mini Trail bike. This will be my winter project since I'm almost done with the Widget camper. I don't know, this may not be considered a traditional piece of "camping" equipment but it's for sure "vintage".

Cool deal Jeff!!!!! you're lucky....I can't fit on one of those....couldn't when they were first out either, and it's only gotten worse! That will be a fun ride to putt at the campgrounds! fold down handlebars make it easily transportable huh? Check out that tank...."primed and ready for paint!" Doug

Don't forget a helmet if you bring it to LCG4. Ranger Rambo might pull his sidearm on you if you don't have your helmet on.

Now that looks like a fun project! It doesn't even seem to be in too bad shape. :)

That brings back memories (older brother).

And a Yamaha enduro and a Suzuki 50cc from that era.

Fun times.

hey that wakes up the memories. I had one like that when I was a kid, got it brand new. The only difference is mine was blue. Had a lot of fun on it, they will take a beating I assure you lol.

That should be fun around camp. Nice find

heeeyy! does that mean I'm 'vintage' too?

Yeah, this is probably going to get thrown into jail and/or a hospital. I'm already looking at the high performance upgrades for the engine......

Glen, I thought about you and Danny getting frowned upon for not wearing your helmet so I'm going to bring one to LCG.
