How neat is this! I wonder if it is still usable/can be "recharged"? I want it for my trailer if it does/can be! (Though, I do not have $60 to spend on a fire extinguisher!)[/img]

Should be usable. That type was filled with vinegar and there was a open top container of baking soda inside. When the extinguisher was turned upside down, the two mixed and forced the smothering foam out of the nozzle. Very effective but you had to be carefull not to inhale the vapors.

a shop i used to work in had several old style water charged fire extinguishers. we had alot of fun with those, fill to line, put some air pressure on them and you could hose down the guy across the shop with extreme efficency! lol
