Lanterns, stoves, etc... anything old!

Tail-gating 502

Postby dobyman » Tue Sep 29, 2009 1:23 pm

I had a really rough 502 with a big dent in the fount, rust everywhere, etc., and I was going to leave it alone for cooking things that splatter or get grease everywhere...... but then the cheesehead in me kicked in and here's what happened.

I also have a nice 220E that I will paint the fount to match, with the green vent. Will make a good conversation piece when I camp here in WI.

If it was old and dented you did not need to paint it much. Just add the Green Bay logo and #4. :o If you did that you might have to give it away or throw it away.

If I put a #4 on it, I'd never be 100% sure if it would work or not on the next trip!  And then, I would also have to paint it a different color every year!

Nice job on the 502.....If one were to really ruin one, do it up in a Raiders theme!!! Never really gets cooking, no matter how much you pump it up, and only ticket holders will get burned on that one. Doug
