My vintage "camping equipment" camper

Sorry, its not a TD, but...

Our "Vintage camping equipment" is a 1966 Apache Buffalo-Mesa camping trailer. It was on the verge of being scrapped by the original owner who had it sitting in his yard for over 20 years (based on the plates). It took a lot of cleaning, some canvas mending by a boat cover shop, new tires, bearings, wiring, and new cushions to make it usable again.

There is a certain satisfaction in using something that you have personally brought back from the verge of destruction. But, I'm sure those of you who have restored vintage TDs know that.

I've done quite a bit of camping in a pop-up trailer and always enjoyed it. With the curtains pulled back, it doesn't feel as closed in as a regular trailer. Enjoy your camping trips in it.
