President Obama,

It's been brought to the citizens as a possible way to reduce the National Debt.

It may seem silly at first, but if you probe deeper you'll find a group of vintage lantern enthusiast with EXCESS inventory of these light producing gadgets that can be sold at a higher value than originally purchase.

I'm pretty sure that Doug's been there. I do my share of lurking at this site also. :)

Well that does it!! I was so impressed with Doug and his Gas pressure museum and then I saw those photos. I am so done with having Doug as my hero, I'm sending back my fan club membership card. I'm going to send back the decoder ring and chef pants too.

Why are they all rusty? No color anywhere..... Looks like a 1,000 "fixr uppers" to me. Pretty impressive, though.

I'm suprised that the roof didn't cave in.

George is only sending his chef pants back because his wife washed them in hot and they are too small. That cat has a bunch of lanterns...that's for sure! After a while...they all sort of start to look alike. I have no desire to have that many! Doug
