Had a good day hitting garage sales today.

Learned a good lesson on this 200A. The fuel/air tube was completely plugged with varnish from old fuel. Took some soaking in vinegar and then carb cleaner to get fuel flowing again.

You dawg! BTW - that Preway is so rusted and beat up that it's practically worthless - so send it to me for proper disposal

Wow Shaun must have been a good day for you. When the weather gets better around here I'm gonna have to start doing the rummage sale thing again. Nice finds.

Dawn- yeah, it broke a dry spell no doubt. Hadn't found anything in weeks and then, Boom! It was fun taking a list of them from CL and then just checking them off one at a time. That and following the random signs people post along the streets. Had never done it for the sole reason of hunting Coleman stuff before.

Scott- Your encouragement that the finds in the wild would come always help. Thanks buddy

Don't mean to "hijack" a thread, but I found ALL my campin gear at garage sales..cause I can't afford new stuff.
Foldin picnic tables(2)...$5 each..different garage sales
Coleman stoves,propane types (2)...$2 each...different garage sales
2gal water jug(new)... pots & pans..3 camp chairs...1 lantern(propane)..sleepin bags (2) ...5 person tent...10x20 tarp...2 foldin cots( stackable)...misc utensiles( lots of em )...single burner stove ( butane)..all THAT fer $100 at ONE yard sale !

I jus took my time and hunted it all down...one yard sale at a time.

I have a buncha "vintage" stuff fer my VW Bug that I put on the roof rack. Vintage Coca Cola cooler and other vintage "stuff"

Not a highjack at all. That's a lot of what we're talking about- bargains. G-sales and flea markets can be a bonanza for those of us that look for what we want in them. Sounds like you're well equiped for a bargain price. Well done! And thats perfect, camping should be about enjoyment not how much it costs. There are so many people who for what ever reason buy nice stuff, use it once and then sell it for pennies later. All the better for us! 8)

Vintage is cool in my book!

Vintage is THE way to go fo sho ! I passed up a Coleman stove with the gas tank in front cause the cap was missin...in hind site, I should've grabbed it fer $2, but chose the propane one cause it was useable an I have limited storage space.
I'm an addict fo sho with the yard sales. It's a sickness I don't ever want to recover from
Now ...thanx to y'all...Imma look fer vintage campin gear..gotta rearrange my garage to accomodate more "stuff".Geez ! Thanx a LOT !
I'm thankful that I no longer have a wife...to tell me to git rid of all that "junk"... Muahahahaha !!
Not a hoearder or a pack rat...Imma "collector " !!!!
