Looky what I got – A mint 1966 milspec with box. It’s perfect in every way except for the aging. A friend of mine called me over the weekend to tell me of the find – Youbetcha I went for it. I looked inside the tool kit compartment and to my surprise – it was ALL there – from the wrench with the tip cleaner, to extra tips, and four mantles, plus other stuff that I dared not to unwrap! Even found a two unopened packages of silk lights in the box – priced at .34 cents a pack. This little prize will sit right next to my other milspec – a mint ‘84 SMP
Must have been a Mil Spec weekend. Our buddy Ed bought one just like this for $5 at a garage sale, also had all the accessories including the funnel. I think his was dated 1952. We could not find a model number anywhere.
