Coleman Guide Series 3 burner propane stove

Postby cmac » Wed Jun 16, 2010 6:59 pm

Hello all:

I've been looking for a Coleman Guide Series 3 burner propane stove for months now. Thought I found one on several web sites only to find out they were stale postings.

Does anyone know where I really can get one of these or does anyone have a new one or a like new one for sale?

(P.S.: Coleman stopped selling/making these stoves about 2 years ago - does that make them a vintage item?)

John this might help but check and see if you have a Coleman Outlet store near you. About a month ago they had a truckload sale with a traveling truck that goes to all the outlets and they had some of those stoves. Not sure if the regular outlet has any but its worth checking. Our sometimes has stuff from 2-3 yrs discontinued in it sometimes.

Hey Cliff:

Good idea!

Called the Wichita outlet store and they check all of their and other outlets inventory, but no luck. The customer representative, John, was very helpful but just nothing like that in stock.

Any other ideas?

Thanks,

John

The coleman outlet store in Branson Mo had one the last time i was there but it has been a couple months. I personally own one of these and they are great.

I'd keep an eye out on www.craiglook.com

There is one advertised now. Maybe you can use paypal and have it ship it to you.

I just looked for Coleman series 3. There may be others with a slightly
different description.

Here's some others that came up when I searched coleman 3:

Also ebay:

Hope this helps.

These are exciting times! You can shop secondhand all over the country to find what you're looking for. Just gotta know where and how to look.

Glad to be of service (I've been "down for the count" all week) and it's nice to do something productive.

Cheers,

Gus
