I cant believe I am say this... I bought a "turd". It will be my next "Sears" project.

The other lantern is a blue black Sears 220 style lantern someone painted green for come reason. It also came with a blue Sears lantern case that is painted green also. The box in front is a 500A generator.

I will not be attending IRG this year.

The globe on the Sears is just a Pyrex one. It has some foam behind it to keep it from rattling.

I got a chance to mess with my new lanterns tonight. Both pump leathers were dry. Once I oiled them up, I decided to put fuel in them and give them a try.
I put some instant clip 21 on the the sears and this is the results.

The turd already had mantels & this was the results.

It would never stop flaming. I will tear it down and clean it and give it another try before I convert it to a "Sears" lantern.

Nice finds Jeremy...I need to find a black vent for a 220 for the new trailer. I'll bet it was a good time...were you able to put some faces to names from the Coleman forum? Doug

I met a bunch of the forum members. It was fun.

I got the turd running. I had a spider nest in the air tube.
