In a last minute thing to get all ready for the IRG...I had to do some fine tuning on a couple of the award lanterns...required robbing some parts from a donor from Steve E...thanks! Got all 6 running fine, put together a 220 for Donn and Donna, a repair on a Steve E 242 Frankenlantern, put together my color coordinated stove 425B, and cleaned and got a 413 running for Kevin...Glad to have all that behind me. Doug

Nice work as always Doug, the award lanterns are real dandies. I especially like what you did with the 425B for the Nomad. Did you remove the wing clips and reinstall them? Sure looks sharp.

I'll keep an eye out for a black 228 vent for you as well if you're still looking for one.

I'm getting ready to put on my air fed helmet to blast the last globe... A redo, because I broke one during the final cleaning after blasting. (It actually had a small defect, which I think "helped" it break)
I was all prepared to have Doug bring an extra globe to the gathering because no one locally had one. I lucked out and found a lumberyard up near Salyer that had them. Took the resist along with me, just in case, got it all cut out while up in Salyer. The kids & I just got home, so it's time to get this last globe blasted.
Sorry I haven't posted pics of the T-Shirts and the Dash Plaques yet... Been too darned busy and away, but will get them up ASAP.
Oh Yaa... Got the meat ordered today for the underground pit barbeque.

Good deal Dean...any rub on them? The carving staff has had their pre-IRG meeting and has also created the carving boards for the slicing of those heavenly hunks of beef...we also have our health cards in order. Doug

Yup... 175 lbs. of beef with a dry rub.
We're trying to round up two electric carving knives for the carving staff.
