Another completed project...(storage box complete)

I finished my Sears 220 style lantern tonight.

Here is the Sears "family":

I had to strip the fount with paint stripper. I took 3 attempts but I got it all off.

The next project is the Sears lantern case. I tried to use paint stripper with no luck. I will take it to work to have it bead blasted.

Those all really look great Jeremy! I still need to find a black vent....might have just enough paint left to shoot a fount for it to match the new trailer. The repaint with the engine enamel might work...but on the other Coleman vents with lots of holes in them, might make it not as durable as your "turd" vent. Doug

That really looks great Jeremy....you've got all the Sears stuff! Are you getting Sears decals from the guy that took over Randall Adams business? I got decals for my 417B right during the change over and haven't ordered anything since...almost didn't get the ones I ordered. Doug

I get them from Fred Kuntz. I used the last one I had on the lantern. I have some custom Sears decal coming from Scott for my 275 so I my use one of them.
