Christmas Tree in July!

Fresh from the Postman...

All it needed was a tank rinse, the generator put on correctly, and the valve nut tightened. Of course, the gasket on the fuel cap is shot, so I used the temp new cap to test it out to see if it held pressure.

BTW, this is in way better shape mechanically than the Sears was!! I love the simplicity of the assembly.

The pump is in fantastic shape and well-oiled. No rust whatsoever in the tank! It fired right up.

Thanks for pointing me to this sweet little lantern (born date 6-51). Nice that something older than me still works flawlessly.

Congrats, thats a real nice original example. And a runner out of the box, gotta love that. A little polish and it will look fantastic. 8) More of them I get are total disasters when I find them than runners lol.

The 200s are a real snap to work on aren't they? You can dismantle the whole thing in about 3 minutes.

Take care of that globe, that rising sun logo makes it a hard to find piece. Lucky you!

Oh, I didn't post that the hat was in perfect shape! No chips or scratches.

Yes! I loved how nicely and quickly it came apart.

I lub it.
