Thanks to a friend on the Coleman Forum.

A virgin 1960's Coleman oven...

And a blue 1 gallon jug...

Well the stove is no longer a virgin. I took it out to the teardrop and lit a fire under it.

After 5 minutes...

I am going to take it for a test run tomorrow weather permitting.

It's a funny story how I got it. I actually found it on Craig's List about 75 miles from my house. The listing was for 2 ovens, 2 stove stands & a water jug. I could not go get it so I sent the listing to a collector that was a lot closer and told him if he buys it I would like to buy on of the ovens. He emailed me back and said he he did not have time to go buy it. Well a week later I get an email from him saying he was able to get the them after all & if still want one, make him a offer. I did & the rest is history.

I have an oven like that. Mine was missing the wire rack, so I made one out of a couple of clips and a wire cooling rack. Tried it out last year while camping and it worked great!

That's a really nice oven Jeremy. I have one, but it's a newer version, really thin materials, doesn't want to fold up now that it's been used a bunch of times, kind of a piece of crap. Doug
