Picked this up yesterday for $3 at a rummage sale. Its a Western Field by Hawthorne for Mongomery Wards. Not a nick on it. The frame support band has a dent, so I will need to tear it down to straighten it out, but thats a winter job! This is one I havent seen before.

Brings back memories; Dad didn't like Sears and ordered a lot from Monkey Ward. He never had any problems with the camping gear.

I think thats what intrigued me most about this lantern. It looks like a turquoise "turd", but its a single mantle. Will look good with all the other singles I have. I like different stuff. :thumbsup:

That's a sweet find for sure! :thumbsup: And the dent in the collar- it's supposed to be there. The Thermos ones are the same way, a pal found out after he had straightened his. You can see it in some of the pics in the link Chris posted.
