Making a coleman lantern reflector/handle

OK, I know you've seen these vintage Coleman lantern reflectors - look like this:

Now seems to me couldn't someone fabricate some sort of cool reflector using a Chock Full O'Nuts Can, a metal shelf bracket and a piece of a broom handle?

Or am I crazy, the mountain air gettin' to me?

forgive us Al...but we are West Coasters...don't know if we have Choc full of nuts out here...but then I'm not a coffee drinker, DR. Pepper, and what is the deal with "choc full of nuts?" anyway....I thought it was made with coffee beans!!! :thinking: :lol: :lol: Doug

Actually, I usually call it 'Chock Full O'Nuts and Bolts'. And that fellow Dr. Pepper was a fraud. He was not a licensed practitioner of the healing arts...

I'll keep you posted as this progresses.
