 This might take a while. We got another one or two camping trips planned for the year, still using them. The bottom of my "Fahdder Bob" lantern case fell off as I was carring it this last weekend and the lantern crashed to the ground. Gotta bend the frame back into shape and replace the glass.

Here is my collection, minus the 425 that is in the TD and i didn't feel like digging out and putting it back.

Image

Stove in the front is an AGM KampKook of who knows what date. Lanterns on the cement from left to right. First is a who cares propane from China sold by Walmart. Then an Oct 1969 200A I got last week end. Then a L227 from Nov. 1927. then a 220 from Nov. 1952 in front of a wooden box that came with it ( probably home built ). On top on the box is a 242 from Nov 1944, now it just needs a top ball nut ( Thanks Dave for the stud ) Upper 2 burner stove is a 413E I got last weekend. On the left of the grill is a 502, Then an Optimus 80 i bought new in the early 70's and it spent a few miles on my back and a few thousand in my motorcycle saddle bags. Then a 500.

Image

Close up of the AGM. It pumps up and burns but i have yet to figure out how to adjust it.

Image

Close up of the Optimus 80, you can see the eyedropper I use to set the stove on fire to get it running. quit the show, guaranteed to get you an empty spot on the communal picnic table.

Hey Rainjer Woul love to see photos of your Sears stoves? I found a sears light green stove with folding legs would like to ID it but still can not upload photos.
on the bottom it has model # 476.72244 The top and bottom at front and back is rounded and not square like a coleman. Would you know if Sears had others make there stoves?

Doitright

Does it look a bit like the AGM in my pictures? Sears did use other manufactures. Who ever would meet their price point I imagine

Doitright,
Does your's look something like this one? This is an earlier model, a 476 74960 dated 5/66. This pic is as I found it. Good running stove. Almost identical size as a 425 but also configured a little different. I like the raised grill on it. They used the yellow trim on them for a while and then went to black like Jeremy's stove. Then switched to the green around '70 or so from what I've seen. This was made by Coleman for Sears.

That is the one High Desert. Mine is pea green so must have been made in the `70. It came with a 220K lantern that is dated `79 so they may have got them at the same time. Thanks to all for the help and yes the raised grill looks nice.

Man you are smart. I started to collect and did not go for the special ones just cheep ones. Now you have about 1/3 of what I have and yours is worth about twice as mine are.

EEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..........So that is where it went.

But seriously. I got one on Eblaber. Finally got one for the opening bid and not to bad shipping and it got here in two days, even when it was post marked on a Saturday I got it the next Monday. USPS really burned rubber on that one.
