Gold Bond Years and Models

Postby PresTx82 » Mon Jan 31, 2011 7:58 pm

Maybe it's already been addressed before but for how many years (I know it was short) were the gold bond series made, and what models did they use?

Was it just the 413G..?

I'm referrencing the stoves.

I'm chasing one in the wild and I want to make sure it's authentic. It has a red gas tank so I know that's been replaced.

Don't have a clue about the stoves, but the lanterns were issued, 200A's were made 1 month in 71, 72 & 73, the 228F's were made 2 months in 72, the 228H's were made 2 months in 73 & 1 month in 74.

I've done my research and got the information I need.

It appears that the collectors that know are keeping this info close to their chest. As collectors, my opinion is to know how to spot a fake, etc. Even some of the collectors don't know what they have and have fakes themselves. There's a gold bond on Terry Marsh's website that is a fake! Interesting.

For the price I'm getting my gold bond suitcase, I can take the chance..! I'll post when I get it in hand.
