Who doesn't like a good old coleman stove?

We got to hit a couple of flea markets the last few weekends. The first one I found a 413E. Well used and a little beat up. It has the legs on the bottom and the towel bar. The gas tank holds pressure and the stove does light but it needs a good cleaning. Best part, I didn't have to negotiate on the price. (didn't have the heart) He only wanted $2.00.

At the second flea market I found a 426D. It also was well used and a little beat up. I have a nice dual fuel 426. But I like these things and like some of you with the lanters, I can't resist these things. These are a little more few and far between. Haven't tried to light it yet but the tank does hold pressure. Almost forgot the best part. The price. He started out at $25.00. I left with it at $ 10.00. :D

Nice finds! The 413 is probably an early one...like 54-56 maybe. I've got the same one, with the copper tank, not the red as the later ones had, and the wire loop handle + painted latch. Mine is the family stove, Grandpa bought it new....I use it all the time...I won't be restoring it, it cooked my first fish. Doug

We also have a copper tank one. Got it at a rummage for $2.00 in 1980. We have used it every camping trip ever since.
