This came with a beat up box. It is the model with a storage bottom. It also came with a funnel in the box. I have never seen one of these in person. I could not tell from the picture he posted but while talking to him on the phone he could not tell me the date on the bottom. Said it wasn't there. I told him where to look. So I thought maybe!
I drove over there and bought it on the spot. Didn't want this model but this was cool with the extras. When I got home and opened the bottom...Oh my gosh! A brand pack of mantles, a brand new generator, and a wrench. Plus the funnel. It also has the flint lighter. Cool! It's a 69 model.

I've seen the storage things on Ebay..you really lucked out! You even got all the goodies with it!!

Nice find....I checked your tags on the photos...appear to be fine, maybe it's a forum thing right now. I do know that they are having some issues with the pics. I've had some issues with posting over on the Coleman forum using this site as a host. I set up a photobucket account for that forum. It's all new to us and there is going to be a bit of time before it is all worked out. Doug

I checked the album..nice find!!

I think the bugs will get worked out soon..it's not that big of a deal. The irritating one will be taken care of tomorrow...the error message due to not being on the dedicated server. I have to refresh several times and sometimes it still doesn't show up like it should..

I've seen those storage things go for quite a bit on Ebay..I was watching one but it just got silly, so I didn't bid. You really lucked out!

Wow, I think you did good on that. Lantern looks very nice and the safe is also very nice. I have yet to see a safe in person. Funnel also looks nice. The one I have is a "user".
