I was gifted a Colman

Postby Modstock » Tue Nov 17, 2020 11:30 pm

I was gifted a Colman cooler and 2gal water jug . It's the green steel lockable cooler.
Should I keep it or toss it ?
How does it compare to modern coolers ?

I have a lifetime cooler and a no-name standard cooler which the Colman might replace.

Might I suggest, whether you place any intrinsic value on it or not, that you hang onto it for awhile.
If it's vintage, there is a certain genre of campers that keep an eye out for such things. Usually, they are hot rodders with vintage standees, with the occasional vintage, restored teardrop thrown into the mix. I'm reasonably sure they they would appreciate you passing along the gift, and both pieces would find a good home.

Just my thoughts.....Roger
