Yes, but I didn't want to have to need the sidewall to mount the stationary part to. I wanted it all concealed when closed.

That's nice, I still can't get over the ceiling paneling. You say you got it at Menards. I may have to go look. I found some at HD that looks like leather it's neat but I don't know if I want my ceiling darker that my walls. I've (well the wife) has already picked out the wall paneling.

After I saw that someone else used this same paneling, I was thrilled to find it at Menards. It was a pleasure to cut and install. And I too wanted a ceiling lighter than the walls. And, they have a plastic trim in white to match, or maple to match my wall material, whitch is actually a birch.
