Wow! Now them's gen-you-wine fins - pass too close to a pedestrian and you could take his whole arm off. I love the extra fins lower down - if the pedestrian were to swing his arm out of the way of the upper fin, you can still take his lower leg off. Possibly they got the idea from Boudicca's chariot?

And can someone tell me why, when I look at the front styling of the Cyclone, the words 'Jayne Mansfield in a sweater' just seem to float into my head.....? :eyebrows:

Madjack, you make me think of an old nursery rhyme:

"There was a little girl, who had a little curl, right in the middle of her forhead.

When she was good, she was very, very good, but when she was bad, she was horrid!"

Wneh you're bad, you're really BAAAAADDD.
  :laughter:

In my (youthful) defence, Jayne Mansfield was appearing in films before I was born. Mark you, she was still appearing in films when I was being breast-fed, so maybe......

Jane Fonda was more my adolescent letch (OK, OK, one of my adolescent letches) but I don't think a car has ever looked like her.

so it would seem that a good compromise shape would be like the new airstream - rounded front towards sides and and arched top. Us home builders would still have a sharp edge at the very front, but that would be smaller than in a standard teardrop

What is that tow vehicle, an A-class?

That is a big trailer to pull with 95hp (82 if it's a Diesel). According to the specs it weighs 725-750 kilos, (1595-1650 lbs). That is, if I'm looking at the correct model.

Yurpeen A-class diesels are 82, 109 and 140 hp. If you want more grunt, there is a A200 (petrol/gas) Turbo with 193 hp.

The Yurpeen (braked) towing limit for the larger-engined A-classes is 1500kg = 3300lb. That's 10-15% more than the curb weight of the car and generous even by Yurpeen standards!

How the heck could you get the hatch to work with matching fins???? Confused

Wright

Put the fins on the parts of the tear where the non-hatched parts of a Cabin Car back are? Raise the hatch like the decklid on a Henry J / Allstate Kaiser?
