Design & Construction of anything that's not a teardrop e.g. Grasshoppers or Sunspots

Hi,

The 'regular' version of SketchUp is free (from Google). Can't beat that price!

And to be honest - SketchUp is my best application. Couldn't have designed the teardrop that I wanted without it!!

Flonker,

I did everything with the free version of SketchUp. It isn't significantly disabled like many other free versions of software.

Yup, Greg's right. This is an amazing piece of software. I'm surprised they give it away for free. The only way in which the free version is disabled, is with the export filters. I have used the program so much with fun projects and home improvement planning, as well as teardrop design that I would seriously consider buying it if they should discontinue the free version.
